sliver
Hi guys Does anyone know how the GasSandForces DOP works with a flipsolver to convert each particles as grains ?I haven't read any solution on forums. The Gas Sand Forces DOP computes the local strain and pressure at each point in the fluid. The fluid is then broken into a series of rigid components whose strain is insufficient to separate the grains of sand. These components velocities are projected to be rigid. http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini13.0/nodes/dop/gassandforces I'm not sure about what I have write there, is it correct ? :Velocity Field : velSurface : surfacePressure : pressureStrain : strain To complete, it seems that the Gas Sand Forces need a pressure field and the Gas Project Non Divergent could be used in this case to compute pressure. (but I'm stuck about this 2 nodes) Thank you in advance if you can help me. My file if you want to explore it. Skybar
I don't think it works for FLIP, but rather the old Sand Solver, maybe SPH too.
sliver
Hi Skybar, may be, I hope not, it's not define in the help. I think to work correctly I need to use the Gas Project Non Divergent to compute the pressure in the Gas Sand Forces but I don't know how these microsolver works. sliver
Hi Skybar, it works with Flip but not very useful, the result don't looks like real sand. I will try an other way
