JonathanGranskg
Hey, I need someone to enlighten me. How can I make each sphere in this basic simulation emit smoke? I create the volume in the sopsolver inside the dopnet. I can't use packed prims, because it needs to be able to collide with a fluid. Is there anyway I can solve this issue? I'm 100% sure there is because this is Houdini Cheers, Jonathan sopsolver_fluidEmit_prob.hipnc
Skybar
Isn't it easier to cache out the RBD and then do the smoke afterwards? What's the reason to do them both at the same time?
JonathanGranskg
In the final project the rbds will be dropped into a liquid and slightly afterwards start emitting smoke and then the liquid controls the smoke's behavior (keeping it underwater), and then the smoke's color will affect the liquid's color. It's hard to explain. It's just a micro-solver/DOP experiment I wanted to try, no biggie if it doesn't work.
