schiho
Hi guys, i am trying to simulate a paper, which is caught by the wind, but even with stiffness values over 500.000 i get a very smooth look. i am using clothcapture for the final result. Do you have any suggestions? thanks!

schiho
As soon it collides with other objects and force is getting high, it regains the "cloth" look. but paper (for the printer) is much stiffer, and when you bend it, it will only collapse on a specific point. but thanks for your example! Doum
Maybe what your are looking for is the weak bend and strong bend parameter un the cloth object? It should help to acheive the paper look.
Guest tar
always best to upload a test file or/and reference to what you want to achieve... thought you wanted tissue paper
slamfunk
try looking at the wiresolver perhaps as well? You might find that it is faster for what you are trying to achieve and it's pretty easy to get a stiff, paper-y look! Early on in this video you can see the basic setup... -> https://vimeo.com/81414364 Edited March 11, 2014 by slamfunk
