XRM
Hi, I was wondering if we can slice a huge FLIP grid into smaller ones and sim each small grid locally. I saw the slice tool and distribution. But I've one single machine. I was thinking if I can slice it and then sim each small ones separately.
cgcris
Wondering the same thing at the moment, if you slice a Flip Sim in 2 can you then distribute it on 2 machines easily? reading the documentation it seems you need HQueue in order to do this.. XRM
Ya but I don't have two systems. I just got one system. If it can be sliced to sim on multiple system, theoretically those slices can be simulated on one system consecutively right?

The slices would need to be able to talk to eachother and share data. If you only have one machine there isn't anything to gain really since you would need all slices to be running simultaneously.
