kgoossens
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to create custom pixel filters. For example: one that would create a black pixel the moment normals are sampled with a big difference or when depth values are rendered with a big difference. This can be done in cops using bigger images and downsampling them but I was wondering if this could be done directly upon rendering. The reason I'm thinking of a pixel filter is because I want to get a pixel perfect effect. But if it is possible in a shader doing this pixel perfect I'd like to know as well. ben
Would the Sub-pixel output option (in mantra) be useful ?
symek
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to create custom pixel filters. Not now, but you could ask the same question in January...
kgoossens
Thanks Benoit! Yes, that might be a solution to use if it goes through a cop process image by image. But I'm hoping a more direct approach is available a vex or vops kind of approach. Cheers
