kaworuonline
Hi all, I have two different density source in my smoke sim, why can I import them separately through dop I/O? I found there is index field called "sourceindex", can i separate the smoke using this data? Any idea how to proceed? Hope it is not stupid question
Diego A Grimaldi
Why would you want the SOURCE from the DOP instead of the SMOKE OBJECT? The source is going to be the same one you brought into dops, it's the smoke object that you want to get from DOPs
Skybar
You can't really. Your two density sources are emitting into a single density field - there is no way of telling which source this density came from when it is all mixed up. I guess it COULD be possible using some additional fields but thats nothing I've ever tried. If you really need to be able to seperate the two I guess just creating a simulation for each source is the simplest. Or well you could do some clustering-thing where you have one container for each source.
