Ben Mears
I recently came across this student project by Niels van Diermen that I thought was interesting. Has anyone else tried creating terrain for use in a game engine using Houdini and Houdini Engine? http://www.nielsvdiermen.com/?portfolio=procedural-terrain-generation-in-unreal-with-the-houdini-engine
freaq
there was a demo at the SideFX booth at siggraph of some awesome work done at Microsoft regarding environments and the houdini engine in UE4. not sure if its available by now but it was really impressive tech. anim
let's not forget Freek's presentation and paper http://freek3d.com/downloads/Freek_Hoekstra_Graduation_final_report_Final_PRINTED.pdf (not necessarily houdini engine, but houdini, UDK and procedural terrains)

acey195
Go Go Igad , nice work, especially from a technical point during a specialization project, when you still have the graduation project to go It looks quite good as well, with the exception that the water borders are too steep, but thats something really easy to fix I guess Edited July 3, 2015 by acey195
