Atom
Hi All, I have a basic FLIP tank with rising water and I want to put a word in the bottom of the tank. When the fluid rises I want the letters to independently float on the surface of the fluid. How do I setup my FONT object to achieve that effect? Thanks I have attached my current setup but the word keeps jumping up way too much and not really floating at all... ap_flip_tank_rise_fall_1a.hipnc Edited July 24, 2015 by Atom
Atom
I am revisiting this scene, trying to get it to work. Does anyone have a example of the Bouyancy force working with a FLIP simulation? The example in the H14 help seems to be related to the old style of fluid in H12 or older. In my new posted HIP file you can see that the word kind of floats on top of the fluid, but as the SIM plays out it just gets stuck in the mud.
