ObiNon
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to have a color attribute transfer grow over time. I am using attribute transfer to color a grid near my animated object. I want that color to spread once transferred. Does this make any sense ? mestela
A solver sop would be the most straightforward way. It lets you access the results of the previous frame, so you can accumulate results over time. Quick example in this thread: http://forums.odforce.net/topic/23500-new-sop-solver-houdini-14/?p=138392
tricecold
yes a sop solver, do the the attribute transfer inside the solver sop, this way it will grow every frame
ObiNon
cool ... I just opened the sample referenced in that thread and took a quick look. There is a DOP Import in that SOP solver. I am not using any DOPs in my scene. I don't think that matters though. Thanks for the input ! M
mestela
If you create a sop solver, it makes that semi-hidden dop network for you. A little by-product of exposing the dop-sop-solver directly to sops, don't sweat it.
