Object sprinting across Fluids

Just install a force (wind) right before gravity in your AutoDop network, the object is irrelevant in this case. You could also just animate a rigid body traveling across the surface. Then hide that part during rendering.

Adding windforce didn't give me satisfying results at all. It applied the force to all particles, while I just wanted it to affect the ones on the surface.

 

Animating a rigid body object only gave me results when it was directly interacting with the fluid. It gave me mediocre results, but it's a starting point.
