cwalrus
HI! this is such a simple question i feel bad asking it..... ahem.... I'm just trying to assign a shader to my POPGrains so that I can control their shading / ambient and diffuse in particular. If I create a Mantra shader and drag it onto my grains, it does not seem to have an effect... What am I doing wrong? thanks! cameron
NSugleris
Just shade your actual particle GEO. Guessing if you used the shelf tool you should see an object called "grain_particles" which is dopimporting your grains in. Just drop a mantra shader on it / set it under the material tab. Now on your mantra shader it will still be pulling color data based on point color, so on the shader uncheck "use point color". Cheers!
