cwalrus
Hi - I have a grain project with a pre-simmed geoCache in it, and on the GeoCache I have 'uprezzed' the sand; in other words I have a DuplicatePoints node in there. This node: geo1Cache/duplcatepoints/pointgenerate1 has to cook every time i open the project. Anyone know of a way to cache this cook, or am i stuck with it? thanks
Skybar
Just write it to disk?
cwalrus
I don't know how to do that, for just the first frame of the geocache network. ...?
cwalrus
I guess that's kinda what I'm asking? Let's say I set up a ROPOutputDrive node downstream of the duplicate_Points node, and write the first frame to disk... do I then import that .bgeo file back into the geoCache network, and where do I put it? I assume I put a switch in there somewhere too, with $FF == 1? Thanks maybe I'll just experiment... i'll post results...
