mirHadi
hello sorry I couldn't find anything about this in the forum so I need to ask. I have a particle source and I want to push the particles toward of a vertical line. I used a pop vop in new pop dop and pointcloud open and for file I want to use the same particle source. ( op:`../../pops_source`, didn't work) but I need to evaluate the curve point distance from the particle and create a vector to push the particles toward the curve... in the old pop network there were 4 inputs and perhaps I could use object merge to the second input and and point cloud in the vop pop will do the rest. but pop vop has only one input ... however i set the inputs 1 : sop input 2 : second input.. but I couldn't make it to work... please help me figure out how do this position comparison. thank you very much. Yader
In the Pop vop the inputs tab set to second context geo should work otherwise upload your scene. Edited October 12, 2015 by Yader
mirHadi
yes yader.. I did it. then I need to import sop geometry into dop and connect it to the pop vop? I think I 'm doing it wrong!
mestela
Also, the pop curve force doesn't do what you need?
mestela
Also also, yader did a great job of moving a curve/pops/pointcloud setup into the current format, sounds like something you should look at: http://forums.odforce.net/topic/13344-creating-simple-tornado-motion-using-pointcloud/?p=140804
Yader
Connect the opinput 2 of geoglobals to the file port of your pcopen node. No need for promoting it.
