ParticleSkull
Hello guys,How can I control FLIP viscosity using attributes? My main question is where should i create this attribute?Let's say I have a box and, based on it's X bounding box values, i want to make it very viscous to not viscous at all, from one side to another.Using FEM i just have to create the attribute inside the object's node and it works perfectly but, with FLIP, it might be a bit different. I have a feeling that the 4th input - sourcing - of the FLIP solver have some relation with it, not sure though.Thx in advance,AlvaroEDIT: I think this thread should be at the Effects topic. My bad, sorry by that. Edited October 26, 2015 by ParticleSkull
animatrix
Just create that attribute (relbbox) as viscosity and turn on viscosity in the FLIP solver. You have to set the rigid parts a very high value though. So you could multiply the whole 0-1 attribute with 100000 or more.
ParticleSkull
Hey Yunus, thx! It worked. Just had to create an attribute using a popvop and connect it to the FLIP's solver 4th input.Best,Alvaro
