ranxerox
very nice Diego ! Did you do anything special to get those long tendrils ? Edited November 16, 2015 by ranxerox
Diego A Grimaldi
Thanks Gregory! I used custom advection and Alejandro helped me with microsolvers for surface tension.. But even without that the tendrils were already almost there
Strob
Hi Diego, that's really cool! It's an effect someone had to do on a project I worked and it was really difficult (he was working in real-flow). I ended up also animating some drops by hand. Now I am learning houdini and I wold like to have some cues about how to do nice tendril. You mentionend Alejandro, I guess that's the one who didd this video: In fact that's exactly what I'M after in this Alejandro video. Is there a thread here where he heklped you about this? Any clue would be more than welcomed!! Thanks p.s.: I'm experimenting with this asset now: https://www.orbolt.com/asset/vosiloB_::particle_surface_tension::1.
