How to create an Agent

Hi, I need help with houdini crowd tool, I'm making some tests with crowds and the part that have less information is about the creation of the agent and the mocap in houdini. I don't know nothing about character animation, so I dont know if a have to do first the rig of the character and then apply the mocap, or if I have to do it in reverse. I am really lost about this topic and I would like to have any help about the path that I should take.

The test:

Thank you.

I did a short tutorial on this topic. Basically all you need is a mesh and one bone for a minimal agent. The motion can always be edited after the fact for an agent. An agent is just a collection of baked data. Consider each bake a place holder till you refine or change any animation states then rebake to create the next place holder motion files (i.e. bclip).

Thanks for the reply, now I know that the first step is to make the rig for the agent, I'm going to start with that using the autorig, but the next step is to apply the mocap to that rig, and I cant find any documentation about that. Do you have any clue about that. Thank you for the replies.

I did do a short tutorial on how to install Mocap into the default Mocapagent1 character, I'm not sure how compatible it is with the older autorig. Perhaps there is some info in this video you can make use of?

Also I got a lot out of this video series by Guillaume Fradin. He explains in detail how to make use of mocap data in Houdini.
