dyei nightmare Posted December 26, 2015 Share Posted December 26, 2015 is there any way to install houdini 15 in a old machine?? well not so old, a machine of 2010 specs are: cpu: Intel Pentium E5700 @ 3.00GHz ram: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 398MHz Graphics: Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset normally i cant run h15 or 14 here because it ask for opengl 3.3 suport also, and the latest drivers of that chipset dont suport it, but i wonder if is there any way, a program or some hack to run it in a machine with these speccs?? i dont care if the interface looks crappy or such, as long as it runs. That's about your only hope, other than trying to fit a GL3 or GL4 discrete card. 4GB of RAM will also be somewhat problematic for doing anything moderately interesting.
