cwalrus
Hi - i can't find the topic where I found this helpful file. What I"m wondering is how to view the colors of the smoke in the viewport and have them match the rendered colors. I suspect it is a Volume Visualization node, but I can't determine what goes where ... I just get mildly colored green blobs, rather than the clearly red, blue, and yellow.... Thanks! rbowden
http://forums.odforce.net/topic/16099-mix-pyro-colours/Here is the topic you couldn't find. I downloaded your file and you are right, it is just with the volume visualization sop. Just change the mode (under density ramp) to No Ramp and you should see your colors. Also, when you upload a file with a sim, upload it at frame one so, it doesn't have to cook when you open it up. -Ryan Edited March 15, 2016 by rbowden
cwalrus
Thank you- I had to mess around some more after that and then it worked: put 'density' in the Density field, and 'Cd.*' into the diffuse field
