Lukich
Hi, there. I have a question. There is an object (a point), animated on the path on the OBJ level. Is there some way to import the transform information of the point from the OBJ level into chops? The only thing that gets physically animated is the position parameter (0-1), which makes the point slide down the curve, but I can't find the transform information for the point itself. Can it be accessed at all? thanks a lot, Luka
edward
Use the Object CHOP (of course ). For getting at the world position, just leave the Reference Object parameter blank.
Lukich
Thanks I actually looked at this chop, but it scared it me with those two inputs
edward
You usually don't need to connect any inputs into the Object CHOP.
malexander
The two inputs are optional. They allow you to compare an object with a set of transform channels (t*,r*,s*,p*), or to compare two sets of transform channels together. Usually, though, it's used to compare 2 objects' transforms.
