Atom
Here is a basic animated noise fog volume that might get you started. Play around with the noise settings, box size and resolution of the fog volume. animated_noise_fog_volume.hipnc

rbowden
You could sculpt your volume in Sops and push that into initial state of a dop simulation. Then you could just use turbulence to really push everything around. You run the risk of running of your fog looking thin in some places though since you aren't pumping more fog in. That is one of many ways you could do it. If the fog isn't interacting with anything, you could do this all in SOPS and could control all of it using nothing but noise. Atom posted a good example file of that above. Those are two of many ways you could go about it. While I understand you are a beginner in Houdini, it might be better to look at some of the many tutorials about volumetrics in houdini so you can wrap your head around the subject and at least try something first before coming on the here asking for help. https://vimeo.com/42988999 https://vimeo.com/user2030228 -Ryan
