art3mis
Hi Following Neils Prayer excellent SCATTER series I was wondering why he chooses to often save and then reload geometry from disk. He never actually explains WHY he does this. Is it only to improve performance or?
Yon
Its so you dont have to cook it again every time you make a change or reboot your file. Think of it as a milestone in your network. If you make a change in a node It will cook the whole net from top to bottom. If you have a cache it will cook from that point.
