zoki
how would we setup fem flip interaction flip pushing around fem body? Fluid force? Does feedback needs to be enabled on flip solver? Looks very buggy this in h15.5 .565? If I increase fluid force it is pushing flip upwards? Anyone have experience with this I want to get something like this going onhttp://physbam.stanford.edu/~fedkiw/animations/starfish_150.mp4 starfish_v001.hipnc Edited August 28, 2016 by zoki
Tesla's fan
I tried to make the FEM object float on the water like a rigid body, but failed. Does anyone know how to achieve it?
Federico
From the shelf select "deforming collider" and apply it on the meshed water.

I want FEM obj influence flip fluid and flip also feedback influence FEM obj just like rigid body interact with flip. FEM obj not change flip form in your file. Guest tar
I suspect that tetrahedra can't interact with points yet
Tesla's fan
thanks, hope later version support feedback with fem obj
Federico
The fem sphere isn't changing the box's shape because it's a collider, you should be able to make them work as a pair (maybe with a multisolver) and just with a groundplane as a collider. Still the most simple thing to do is to resimulate the water using the feedback scale in the flip solver.
Tesla's fan
I tried many ways Give up wait later version
dansidi
How about pyro interacting with FEM? I want to push a FEM object using a pyro sim. Can I use the velocity of the pyro sim to affect (or advect or whatever) the FEM ? Is that possible? I have version 15.5.607 Many thanks
