Bypass Animated Channel

i feel like i'm missing something really simple here..

i have a bunch of animated channels.. i'd like to just turn them on and off to see each individual one acting on it's own. ya know, just bypass all the keys to a default constant value. i don't want to delete the keys, because i'll need them later, but there's gotta be something else.. expression maybe?

i thought of channel referencing another channel that's empty but that kind of seems sloppy.. also thought of exporting from chops to it but that seems a little overkill.. there's gotta be something simple that i'm just not thinking of.

just one of those mornings..

thanks everybody..

oh yea.. also something else.. is there a way to rearrange channels that are placed within channel groups? i know you can rearrange the channel groups themselves, but i can't seem to do it to the actual channels within those groups.
