Daskerdaks Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 (edited) How is cloth tearing done properly in h15.5? To me the solid fracture looks very unrealistic, how can this be adjusted? In the old versions one could simply paint tearing areas. Also for fem fracturing the solid fracture just doesn't look as nice as old school voronoi fracturing, but surely the solid fracture can be adjusted to look more like the old style? Just use voronoi and then transfer attributes. so every peace is named fracturepart. Or you can dive in to solidfracture node and play around with vop_sop (as you can see it actually uses voronoi there Also if you want to change the look in the shader afterwards check out Peter Quint`s tutorial calle Peeling Effect.
