catchyid Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 There are many parameters you can animate, e.g. offset, frequency, amplitude,... you can something like $SF to indicate simulation frame, or $ST simulation time, for smooth animation you could use sin($ST) for example. I know that it's possible to use CHOPs to animate these parameters, but I don't know much about (Basically instead of writing sin($ST), chops allow you to use nodes like curl noise, time, sin to build your noise as you wish)...
