Atom
Hi All, I was messing around with trying to add call backs to a python node. Houdini asked several questions and I clicked through the dialogs. When I returned to the Python scripting area, all my code was gone and there was not even a place to type in my code. When I load the file I get a message that all python parameters are being discarded. Also I notice that other python nodes that I did not even alter had their code removed. How can I see my python code again? Is my code truly lost at this point? ap_missing_python_script.hiplc Edited January 16, 2017 by Atom
Atom
I also see this message when I open Houdini.
Atom
I guess I accidentally updated the digital asset after I removed some parameters. This created a new version of the python node in the otls folder, which was invalid. I deleted the newly created clone of the python node and restarted Houdini. Whew, all my python nodes returned to normal.
