AntoineSfx
Hi, I would like to know it the Houdini main window is supposed to redraw in real time when, for example, I'm moving the Houdini Help window, or the Houdini About window on the of the main window. Right now, all I have on the windows are trails, until I release the mouse button. Basically, I'm having problems with a workstation; it looks like some Windows 7 UI features are missing (for example, no animation when I minimize or close windows, despite them not being disabled in the Appareance settings), so I would like to know if this is normal, or if this is a symptom that something is wrong with my current workstation / OS / driver setup. Atom
I see the same thing when I have the OBS (Open Broadcaster System) screen capture software running. It changes the color scheme to Windows basic and any message window that happens to appear over Houdini leaves a trail. Try re-enabling Aero features on your Windows system. Or pick an Aero based theme (one with transparency) under Personalize Desktop.

Thanks I keep on searching on the Aero problem and it was caused by DWM not running (a.k.a uxsms as a service) No wonder why the windows had problems compositing. It feels like a different machine right now.
