Hans Peter
Hi there, I got the problem that HDRI images I want to load into houdini never look like they should. Pretty much always heavily overexposed. Can't bring it back in a cops environment so is there some other way to import them correctly? dimovfx
If you are using Environment Light, there is exposure control.
Hans Peter
I tried everything from the exposure control to a dozen comp nodes. The only thing that could rescue it a bit was: gamma node, then a function node with setting the function to sin(x), levels, contrast and saturation. But even this wasn't perfect. Some girl in the houdini forum told me that Houdini has some problems with .hdr files. After I converted the file to a tif it worked much better.
