art3mis
Hi Can anyone tell me if its possible to properly combine the effect of 2 POP forces by simply using a merge? I'm not showing any errors but am wondering if the rightmost POP (popwind in the attached) is overriding the other POP instead of properly 'merging'
vtrvtr
They do. Merging or putting them on the same stream makes no difference, they work either way POP wind isn't POP Force tho. If you go to the POP Wind help page you'll read Quote The POP Wind node applies wind to particles by updating their targetv and airresist attributes. Unlike POP Force, which continuously accelerates particles, POP Wind instead acts as a drag pulling particles to the ambient wind speed. This operator modifies the targetv, and airresist attributes. You might be able to come up with a formula to balance them, but I'm not sure if it's anything trivial
art3mis
Hmmm, ok thanks. that would explain my results:) Will try merging 2 different popForce POPs.
