Atom 1,227 Posted December 12, 2017 (edited) I have an animated mesh that is made up of triangles. It looks ok to me and PolyDoctor, but when I try to convert it to a VDB it looks wrong and awful. Is there any solution for this? I have tried Fuse, Clean, PolyDoctor, Subdivision and Remesh. None of those approaches seem to have any positive affect. Can Houdini convert triangles into a valid VDB? harness.obj Edited December 13, 2017 by Atom
f1480187 764 Posted December 12, 2017 It's an open surface with no volume. You need watertight object. harness.hipnc
Atom 1,227 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) Thanks for this fix! I guess my original use of polyextrude did not work as well as I thought. . . . Yep, after reviewing my original, I forgot to enable output back. Edited December 13, 2017 by Atom
