I indeed tried to achieve that. Funny thing is, my configuration looks IRIX-ish in KDE, while in mwm (one of my favorite windowmanagers; as seen in the screenshot) has this (personal_)IRIS-look. I might design my very own window manager some day, but I bet there are already SGI-looking wm's out there (if I recall correctly, "4DWM" is one, but quite dated).
