aracid
hey all I would like to reference my geo in something like the intersect vop instead of using a file, but through the "op:" expression its quiet easy to do this with cops, in shaders, but how can u use that in geometry ? could anyone share light onto this ? thanks in advance aracid
edward
I think that you can use op: to refer to SOPs if you're in a context that's being run in Houdini (as opposed to Mantra).
AndrewVK
hmm op:/obj/MyGeometryObj/MyTestSop works well for me
aracid
thanks for the quick response i have a simple i3dshader, just like jasons that searches for the inside of objects too fill with density, and when i enter op:/obj/model/null1 instead of c:\temp\model.bgeo i get errors wierd AndrewVK could u say where u used that? just so i could trouble shoot from a working example :-) anyone used it in the context of shaders/i3d ?
