cs00bren Posted October 23, 2002 Share Posted October 23, 2002 hello in 3d max you can mesh smooth e.g. when you boolean two objects together you can then apply a mesh smooth which smoothers out the joint between the objects how can you do this in houdini. also is they any way of applying a bevel to box or other objects os that the fulloff at the edges looks realistic Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cs00bren Posted October 24, 2002 Author Share Posted October 24, 2002 i'm using nurbs and after the surfsect set to union and then the smooth sop it doesn't smooth between the two objects it just smooth one of the objects thus treatingg the two as seperate pieces the obects are a nurb tube and a extruded nurb curve.
