javidial
Hi everyone. I have a scene with big rocks/mountains. I'd like to replicate this effect: and this one: And of course the snow would some evaporate and go over the slope, like shown in the picture I've attached. I have uploaded a hip file with what I'm doing so far in a much simplify version of my project, but I don't know how to make it look like 'big scale', with all the ripples and fine details. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks spindrift_snowDustBlowing.hipnc Edited January 15, 2019 by javidial
merlino
Some year ago I made the same effect and I used a smoke sim: the emission was from the terrain itself (maybe you can scatter points over it and apply some noise to give him some variation over the emission) and the smoke solver take care of the rest (with a wind force + noise). Then you can mix it with some particles advected by the volume itself.

Everything I get looks chunky and blurry. I'll keep trying and see if I get good result.
