Using own attribute for mountain sop falloff

I have a float @width attribute that goes from 0 to 1. How would I go about using my width attribute for a mountain sops falloff? I tried using a point attribute expression but the value I get is static. So I think I did something wrong.

The object I'm working on is a cylindrical object. The mountain details starts off strong but then gets lowered the higher it goes.
