find points and cut.

hi there, i have no clue how i would do this.

i have a grid in a for loop and managed to break it up in random patterns. like the one in the picture below.

now i would love to get thes two primitives connected or cut up the way i showed in the picture.

the goal is to have a shape i can now inset with a poly extrude and then process this thing further.

the final plan is to have something that generates random patterns to create panneling on a model.

maybe some of you clever guys can come up with a solution to this.
