art3mis
Bit of a modelling noob in Houdini. Any modelling experts able to give some general guidelines if i want to model a hollow octahedron? I know platonic solids gives me an octahedron, but I need it to be 'hollow' so that I can fill it with water-particles I assume this means the walls of the octahedron need some thickness. anim
either add some thickness to it (PolyExtrude with Output Front/Back on , Output Side off) or use as is in static object DOP and check Invert Sign in it's collision volume representation
art3mis
thanks Tomas. Didn't realize Poly Extrude could work with Platonic solids this way.
