Hello guys ,

im trying to make a river sim for large scale sim using the boundary layer but i can not get good looking waves for water.

i hope if you can have a look into my hip file and help me doing it correctly.

Also i was wondering , if this is the correct way to make river for large scale sim ?

Thank you

Hi,

I haven't looked at your scene but if your river is curved, you can use Gas Guiding Volume method to have continuous custom emission and sink sites:

I find this method more versatile than the Boundary Layer method, as it's more generic, though the latter is easier to set up.

It's difficult to figure out what scale this simulation is supposed to represent. It would be a creek and those are stores or a river and those are boulders.

Do you have reference for what you're trying to achieve?

well i only try to get nice river look from it
