gangland
Hello guys. I have two points and i copied sphere to them. The points are moving and the spheres are copied over em, i would like to keep the deformation of each copy, however at moment while sphere are moving the noise is working like globally distorcing the sphere each frame. any solutions?? i will send the hip file to illustrate better. thanks in advance moving_rocks.hip
konstantin magnus
Hi Gabriel, just put transform node the after the deforming point VOP. That way the deformation is only calculated once per copy. KM_moving_rocks.hipnc
gangland
in this case cant use transform with animated parameters. the copy sop will be feed by an simple pop simulation. still no luck yet
vineet
Hi Gabriel, I think if you just hold your moving sphere on a single frame using time shift and put it in the 2nd input of your vop and use 2nd input 'P' using "importPointAttribute" as reference position for your noise only, should work for you as that will work as a rest position which is not changing globally per frame. Hope this should help. Thanks Vineet
