500Mills
Hi, I am looking for some advice. I thought I can try this in Houdini......... For example. I have 1000 images in a folder. I want to create an image sequence from those images depending on the amount of luminance in the images. I have no clue where to start. Has anyone done something like this before? I am only starting to research this and thought it might be possible with PDG. Thanks
6ril
Hi, are you trying to SORT them, let's say from brighter to darkest ? If so, I'd calculate the average luminance in COP or any compositing package, then store the result in the file name. Done. Many ways to average the luminance, depending on the software.. probably a bit of scripting to store the result in the file name. not sure if that's what you want, so I won't develop more.
