Q: noise's offset will change freq?!

Use noise vop for simple river

Hi everyone, I am trying to use noise deform for river
Inspired by gameDev's  flow map 
Use surface velocity direction multiple time then plug into the offset of noise 

Looks great in begin 
But In the end, it will change freq of noise
freq is getting high and higher
I don’t know why?

any advice thanks~

i think the width of your river is far too wide for that tight curve. The bend is getting crunched.

to see it better after you polyframe3, add polyexpand2d, Offset surfaces, increase the offset and you'll see the bend get crushed against

itself.

or to go the other way. if you shorten your line2 to about 1.8...there's no self collapsing at the  tight bend
