Shader visibility in viewport

Recommended Posts

Hi! When I use Principled Shader I see its color on an object in viewport, however when I use Material Builder (screenshot below) color is not visible in the viewport. Could you please advise how can I change Material Builder to see the results in viewport?

Check this tutorial

You must "customize" your material.

Edit parammeter interface -> render properties -> openGL folder.
Then add a "diffuse map" or "emissionmap" or ... properties with tagName as ogl_tex1.
Or something like this. Sorry no very precise, (not really a mantra user), rather a clue.
Better to look at the tutorial

Hi everyone,

I'm mixing two cops in material builder using values from a point attribute, I tried to add opengl diffuse tag to have the material showing in the viewport, but I have two problems:

- I can't see how to use the point attribute to mix the two textures (where am I supposed to apply the alpha/layer tag?)

- The texture (cop) doesn't update in the viewport.

any idea?

Thanks for any help..
