Boolean With Scatter Sop Fail? Question

Recommended Posts

I am probably missing something obvious but an inspection of the attached scene will show the oddness that I have experienced.

I am trying a simple boolean op using the cookie SOP between a simple sphere and box.

All is fine if you translate the sphere into a position then aplly the cookie sop.

The problems come when I use a scatter SOP to place my sphere. The cookie SOP does not work the in the way that I am expecting...not sure why...is it a bug or my noviceness?

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Thanks in advance

yeah i see what i mean, at least i think i do.

before pumping the inputs into the cookie sop, add convert sops to convert them.

i've attached a sample file.

disabling the the converts disables the cookie, which seems like a bug to me!
