andyhowell
I have an animated alembic. Animated guy being knocked backwards. I'm firing some particles at him and want them to stick to his surface. Friction wasn't seeming to work. Am I missing something ? Thinking about it now, I hadn't done a convert to poly on the alembic. I've seen examples with point deformed scattered particles. The difference here is they are particles emitted from another source. Any help and guidance would be great. Thanks in advance Edited March 6, 2021 by andyhowell
Atom
Yes, unpack the Alembic so you can supply the geometry as a collision object to the simulation. Both flip and pop can stick to a collider once a collision has occurred. Take a look at the solvers for each. andyhowell
Many thanks for pointing that out. Response parameter in collision behavior......STICK. Works perfectly. Thanks very much that. I've also taken a look at the links page, some very interesting stuff on there. Will take a look. Thanks again Andy
