Rendering issues

Hello. Last night I was trying to render out a simple grid with a Choppy Water displcement shader on it. The produced render has holes in the geometry, the whole polygons are missing. I tried NURBS and polys, micropolys on and off, supersampling cranked up - same result. Do you guys know what the problem can be?

Have you set your displacement bound?

In the object parameters, there is a Displacement Bound option. Give it the smallest number that'll work. The number you enter should be the maximum amount that occurs in screen space in your choppy water shader. Often setting this number to the "amplitude" of your Choppy water is good enough.
