Change vellum bend stiffness over time base on an attribute

Hello everyone, I am trying to change the vellum bend stiffness over time base on an attribute.

The effect I am trying to achieve is an object that has a low stiffness in the moment of impact and then the stiffness increases and the object reverts to the original shape. The vellum solver seems to not update the stiffness and only gets it from the first frame. I have attached a file illustrating my issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thaaaanks!
