Tschonatschan
Hey folks, I'm in the process of switching from Windows to Linux. I installed houdini as root, but somehow i can't figure out how to start the sesinetd license server on startup automatically. By now I have to manualy start it through the terminal how it is described in the Sidefx FAQ. (How can I Start/stop the license server?) $ sudo /etc/init.d/sesinetd start Doing this manually each and everytime on startup is a bit tedious. Anyone who could point me in the direction on how to fix this without a script? Thanks in advance, Jonathan

Drughi
you should create a systemd service https://medium.com/@benmorel/creating-a-linux-service-with-systemd-611b5c8b91d6 but usually it should be created automaticly
