When using copy to points how to render with different materials applied

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've copied a few tubes to points and have applied different materials to each tube.

This is all happening in a geometry node.

But I can't figure out how to render all the tubes and the respective materials.

Advice pls!

Thanks

A scene file might be helpful here to see what you've tried so far.
Normally, just assigning a material, either at the object level or using a "material" SOP node, to a piece of geometry will give you the result you are looking for when rendering using Mantra.

you do not need to separate the materials like that you can use just one and since you, output groups you use the same material add more with the + btn then apply the material that you wish.
