archz2
When I open hipnc files on my laptop in Houdini, then close them and start a new project, I get this notification. I have to restart Houdini in order to work on a new file. Is there a way to avoid restarting Houdini? Drawing an analogy with Autocad here. Autocad has student version and professional version. While viewing a file of student version, then closing it and starting a new file, one doesn't have to restart Autocad. The only catch is that files made on student/educational versions come with a label of 'Made with autodesk educational product' on printing the file. pabcou
I'm afraid not, you must restart the application. My suggestion is that you open a new instance of Houdini for NC files.
