Razr_123
Hi everyone, I am currently working from a laptop with an SSD. Is there a way I can bypass the SSD (C:/ drive) when caching simulations, and cache them directly on an external HDD (D:/ drive for example)? I don't mean only in terms of path - which of course can be done easily, but also in terms of temp files and the bunch. Mainly to not use my main SSD read/write cycles. Thank you! dleonhardt
Houdini has an environment variable called HOUDINI_TEMP_DIR You can set this in the houdini.env to something like HOUDINI_TEMP_DIR=D:\houdini_temp and it should write all temporary files to that directory.
